It is a matter of great prestige for the Asian Institute of Public Health University (AIPHU) to note that our faculty member, Dr. Jyoti Ranjan Rout, Assistant Professor, School of Biological Sciences, has been awarded the ‘NESA Scientist of the Year -2019’ by the National Environmental Science Academy, New Delhi. This award was given for his outstanding research contributions in the field of Environmental Biotechnology. The award was conferred upon to Dr. Rout on the occasion of the International Conference ‘Materials for Environment, Sustainable Society and Global Empowerment’ held at Visvesvaraya Technological University, Bengaluru from 19th to 20th December 2019.
