<p>The 78th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at AIPH University on 15 August 2024. The event was organized to celebrate India’s independence and instil national pride among students, faculty, and staff. The celebration took place in the front garden of the university from 8.30 AM to 9.20 AM.</p>
<p>The celebration began with the arrival of the faculty members, students and support staff, who were warmly welcomed by the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Usha Agrawal. The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by the Vice-Chancellor, accompanied by the registrar and other faculty members. As the flag was hoisted, the gathering joined in singing the national anthem, filling the atmosphere with patriotic enthusiasm.</p>
<p>Following the flag hoisting, the vice-chancellor madam delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the significance of Independence Day and urging the students to contribute positively to the nation’s development as well as university progress. As per the MHRD campaign “A Tree for Mother”, we followed a plantation on our university campus.</p>
<p>The Independence Day celebration witnessed the active participation of students, faculty members, and staff. The supported staff and the students played a crucial role in organizing the event, ensuring everything ran smoothly. By the end of the event, sweets and breakfast were served at the university canteen.</p>
<p>The Independence Day celebration at AIPH University was a resounding success, impacting all attendees. The event not only honoured the sacrifices of the freedom fighters but also served as a reminder of the responsibilities that come with independence. The sense of unity and patriotism displayed by the university community was truly commendable.</p>
