Terms of Reference:
- The tenure of the cell is for three years from the date of notification.
- To follow the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines/notifications from time to time and comply with them with the approval of the Registrar of the University.
- To conduct meetings at least once in each quarter.
- To promote social inclusion and ensure equity across the university for students, faculty, and staff communities.
- To provide support to students who face discrimination or any issues related to their social background.
- To function as a grievance redressal body of the University for students from weaker sections of society.
- To ensure that admission and registration procedures are accessible and inclusive for students from disadvantaged sections of society.
- As and when required, the Chairperson of the Cell may recommend appropriate names for the reconstitution of the cell.
