Dr. Paramjot Panda (PT) has a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha and a Master in Public Health from Prasanna School of Public Health; Udupi Manipal Karnataka. His dissertation was on “determinants of the chronic pain in the urban area of Udupi Taluk”.  Prior to joining AIPH University, he was working at Public Health foundation Of India (Bhubaneswar) (Tribal health theme) where he gained experience in working with Lanjia Saura tribes of Niyamgiri Hills Rayagada Odisha.
He has also worked in DR NTR Vaidya Seva Trust (Govt of Andhra Pradesh) as Deputy Executive Officer in Planning and Co-ordination Department where he was associated with the National Health Protections Scheme; proposed Doctor Health Clinic and prepared the Guidelines for implementation; supervised the Diet and Nutrition Program of Andhra Pradesh; supervised and guided Management Information system (MIS) to generate quality data for research and presentation;  coordinated with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, government of India and various other key stakeholder; and in enhancement of Packages for treatment procedures.
His areas of interests are Tribal health, health inequity, non-communicable diseases; health policy and system research. His goal is to work towards equitable access to healthcare. He uses R and SPSS for statistical analyses.
